I hope it’s possible to evolve what we call identity politics into something I would call dignity politics… Something that centers the inherent worth and dignity of all… This means simple things like safety, a home, health for yourself and your progeny. I want things like that for us all, and my broken heart hopes that if I say it in hushed tones, people will have to lean in to hear it, and the very act of leaning in would make all the difference. Magical thinking. I know. This one features Gina on fiddle duetting with Rick Nelson on cello.
